Mobile Photography & Art Flickr Group Showcase – 24 January 2016
This weeks Flickr Group Showcase of mobile photography and art refuses to stay silent. The characters within and behind them slip out of their frames, enticing us to imagine the stories of their lives. It is rare and exciting to find such urgent visual imagery, full of persuasive language and strategies. And it is refreshing to sense that the pull of much of this work derives from artistic living, beyond fear. Art is a crushing chore and a tremendous privilege. Think big, as such this showcase represents another advance in international understanding of mobile photography/art history and aspiration and of course, determinedly through your artists’ eyes.
