Mobile Movie Competition with FiLMiC Pro App
FiLMiC Pro is one of the leading professional mobile movie app’s available and today they have launched their Second Short Film Competition with over $25,000 in Prizes. The competition period runs from now until 27th May, 2016. There are five categories and one special jury prize to the best film by a female mobile film maker. APPArt Interview with Brett Chenoweth – Layers of Truth
Please enjoy this interview between our APPArt Editor Bobbi McMurry and Brett Chenoweth who graciously answers questions about his work and process, revealing the complex layers of thought, craft and expression that go into his outpourings. Chenoweth is illustrator and artist who takes his inspiration from his own photographs. These he uses to collage and layer images created with his iPad. “Often, it begins simply by taking a couple images, usually photographs, and playing around with them, the image builds and changes according to its own narrative. In honour of the @24hourproject, a street photography project designed to document streets of the world over a 24 hour period, created by Renzo Grande @aliveinnyc and Sam Smotherman @whittiersam, we have decided to feature a wonderful poem by Lord Byron the most flamboyant, notorious and fashionable of the major Romantic poets of the day. The poem is entitled ‘She Walks in Beauty’ and I really feel it epitomises the essence of the @24hourproject.
