#RePicture Competition Open For Entries
Getty Images and iStock have teamed up to create a new international photography competition, #RePicture. The competition aims to challenge how we photograph the world and find ways to subvert stereotypical imagery across the globe. Originally launched at this year’s Cannes Lions festival in France, #RePicture is inspired by the success of Getty Images’ recent partnership with Lean In, an organisation that champions creative opportunities for women. Cinamatic Mobile Competition with Los Cabos Tourism Board!
Buoyed from surpassing their first one million user mark, Cinamatic now have the facilities in place to partner with brands to create beautiful content. Olloclip, Hipstamatic, Cinamatic – Competition Winners Announced
We are delighted to announce the winner of our recent Olloclip, Hipstamatic and Cinamatic video competition. The requirements were to create a short video using the new Cinamatic app by Hipstamatic and post these to our new Flickr group, celebrating our new Olloclip Microsite. We received many wonderful entries and Donna Donato and I scoured these, trying to pick just three winners, it was no easy task. MIRA Mobile Prize – Overall Winner Announced!
We are delighted to announce the overall winner for the MIRA Mobile Prize is Janine Graf with her rhino image with blue balloons. This photograph was chosen from the shortlist of fifty that myself and other members of the Jury had selected. It reflects high evaluation; consistent work; and was also the preferred image of the curator and the representant of the municipality for the MIRA competition. Many many congratulations Janine.
