RIP Final Cut Express/Server/Studio
Apple has discontinued Final Cut Express, Final Cut Server products and the Final Cut Studio Suite. A ‘person familiar with Apple’s retail operations’ told Appleinsder that with the release of Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5 and Compressor 4 the aforementioned products are now deceased. What About The Retailers? If you’re a retailer the same source explained that you will be entitled to return any boxed copies of the above products to Apple. Final Cut Pro X along with Motion 5 and Compressor 4 are only available via the Mac App Store.
