A picture speaks a thousand words, so says the English language idiom and as this is a website by and for visual artists, we felt this section was long overdue. In the UK we have a literary award of which, it is of no honour to win. It is the Bad Sex Award and each year since 1993 an author is honoured who has, in the opinion of the judges, produced an outstandingly bad scene of sexual description, in an otherwise good novel. Our first ever Instagram TAKEOVER has been a huge success and all our thanks go to @psychephoto – Robin Cohen for this. We entrusted her with the keys to our Instagram account and she has honoured us all with her thought provoking curation, compassion and care. This is our first year of asking mobile photographers and artists to contribute a Thanksgiving image, representing their thoughts, along with a few sentences expressing what mobile photography and art means to them and considering what they’re thankful for in relation to it.
