Exclusive Interview With Chris Davies Of The American Aperture Awards (AX3)
As many of you know the winners of the American Aperture Awards (AX3) were recently announced. Four major Award Winners and 51 Winners in each additional category from over 1,100 entries from 63 countries were narrowed down to receive these prestigious awards. We were delighted in particular with the mobile photography category, not least with seeing our very talented Contributor Nettie Edwards scoop the Top Prize and Award of Mobile Photographer of the Year. AX3 – American Aperture Mobile Awards 2013 Winners Announced
The AX3 American Aperture Awards Wiiners have just been announced and it’s with huge pride that so many of the mobile photographers that we regularly feature here at TheAppWhisperer.com as well as our Columnists have swept the Awards categories. Not least Nettie Edwards who has been awarded Mobile Photographer Of The Year. Not only that, Nettie has also picked up the Category Winners Awards of the Landscape/Seascape/Nature and Video/Moving Images Categories. American Aperture Awards – Last Day For Entry
Bob Weil has just dropped me a line to ask me to remind you all that today is the last day to enter the American Aperture Awards. See our original post here – they extended the deadline to 24th from 17th June 2013. Bob Weil and Daria Polichetti (iPhoneArt.com) are jurors for the mobile component of the American Aperture Awards. It is not primarily a mobile arts competition. Founded by Chris Davies, the publisher of Fabrik Magazine in LA (a former LA photography gallery owner) and a select collection of art books, AX3 should be an interesting new addition to the cross-genre photography exhibition scene.
