Apple iPhone 5 Official Announcement Due September 7, 2011
Looks like a date has been set, MacRumors reports, having seen the information on Japanese site, Kodawarisan (who went on to confirm that this information came from a ‘strong’ source), that the next expected media event will fall on September 7, 2011. With similar dates last year and the introduction of the iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle models, this year we are expecting the announcement of the iPhone 5 as well as the official launch of iOS 5. REXiG HDR Camera – Going Free For A Limited Time
We recently placed REXiG HDR within our Top 10 of iOS HDR apps – see here. Well now it’s going free, so there’s even more reason to pick it up. In general, the HDR composite will require multiple Photos. In this application REXiG can represent a high dynamic range by restoring information from the darker and bright portions. When information in a dark part and a bright part is completely lost this in turn will not get good result. Also, Since the noise tends to brighten the dark areas, noise reduction will be very useful.
