2011-08-25 / Comments Off on iQuit – Good News For Sony, Nokia And Samsung

With the latest news that Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple going viral around the web, it has had a negative effect on Apple’s share price, currently sporting a 5% drop. What Might Have Happened If Microsoft Had Bought Motorola?

2011-08-16 / Comments Off on What Might Have Happened If Microsoft Had Bought Motorola?

Unless you’ve had your head in the sand over the past 24 hours you would have heard that Google announced they will pay $12.5 billon for Motorola. But what you might not have heard was that Microsoft were also in the running but didn’t offer nearly as much cash. Pocket God – Episode 40 – Battle Of The Gods – Video Tutorial

2011-08-13 / Comments Off on Pocket God – Episode 40 – Battle Of The Gods – Video Tutorial

Don’t miss out on this cult classic app – Pocket God, Episode 40 – Battle of the Gods. Now, on God Island, you can enter the battle arena. All you have to do is earn at least four god idols and set them on the four pedestals to open the temple. Drop a pygmy into the temple to enter the game. Here you have a chance to go up against every episode’s god; there are forty so far. In the battle, both sides get four idols that have certain attributes and powers. Choose the right idols at each turn to win the battle. It plays like a two-tiered rock-paper-scissors, and…

Apple iPhone 5 Official Announcement Due September 7, 2011

2011-08-12 / Comments Off on Apple iPhone 5 Official Announcement Due September 7, 2011

Looks like a date has been set, MacRumors reports, having seen the information on Japanese site, Kodawarisan (who went on to confirm that this information came from a ‘strong’ source), that the next expected media event will fall on September 7, 2011. REXiG HDR Camera – Going Free For A Limited Time

2011-08-12 / Comments Off on REXiG HDR Camera – Going Free For A Limited Time

We recently placed REXiG HDR within our Top 10 of iOS HDR apps – see here. Well now it’s going free, so there’s even more reason to pick it up. In general, the HDR composite will require multiple Photos. In this application REXiG can represent a high dynamic range by restoring information from the darker and bright portions. When information in a dark part and a bright part is completely lost this in turn will not get good result. Also, Since the noise tends to brighten the dark areas, noise reduction will be very useful.
