‘Nikon Lenses’ – iPhone App
Here’s a new iPhone app to hit the iTunes store, entitled ‘Nikon lenses’ – I was rather surprised that it wasn’t called ‘Nikkor lenses’ as that is by what they are known but nevertheless it looks like a competent app. The app is a guide to Nikon’s current lineup of F-Mount lenses used by both Nikon’s digital and film SLR cameras. You can view all the lenses at once or you can view lenses in a selected category. You have the ability to sort by aperture, minimum focal length and ESP (Estimated Retail Price). If you would like to try out this app, download it for free, here

The highly anticipated Blackberry tablet has finally been announced and it looks pretty good too. Smaller than the current Apple iPad (rumors are rife that Apple are bringing out a smaller iPad in 2011). The PlayBook as Blackberry have christened their tablets stands in a 7 inches tall, weighs less than a pound, fueled by a 1GHz dual-core processor and dual HD cameras for both video conferencing and video capture. Apple iPhone 4 Big Hit In China – Awesome Images Of The Event
The iPhone 4 was well received in China on Saturday with over 1,000 people lining up outside of Xidan Joy City Shopping Mall to buy the best iPhone to date. The first in line had apparently queued for two days. China Unicom has reported that 50,000 users pre-ordered the device for launch day. The iPhone 4’s launch comes only 3 months after the U.S. launch which helped keep demand high despite a healthy grey market for the phones. In contrast, the iPhone 3G launched in China a full 2 years after its U.S. launch.
Apple Is Killing The Mobile Phone Business
According to a report in Fortune today, they state that despite Apple being the most profitable mobile company, this has come about largely due at the expense of Nokia, Sony Ericcson, LG and Motorola. Asymco’s Horace Dediu who put this data together said, "Will Android change this picture?" he asks rhetorically. "As I’ve argued before, Android is most attractive to the unprofitable and the strategically constrained. Can having undifferentiated new products change this? As Nokia is unlikely to license Android, and RIM seems very unlikely and Apple is out of the picture, the only possible contenders are Samsung, LG, HTC, Motorola and Sony Ericsson. "Motorola and Sony Ericsson have both…

Designed by Rainer Spehl especially for the MacBook Pro series, this unusual support is both elegant and practical, perfect for the people working at home.
