Through our APPart Column, edited by Bobbi McMurry, we raised the question ‘do you use the default/native camera in your iPhone or a dedicated photo app to capture your initial images?’. It proved a popular question and our editor for this section Bobbi McMurry has created a pie chart clearly demonstrating the Apple default camera as being the most popular choice with 31%. Apple wins Cannes Lions Outdoor Top Prize for World Gallery ad Campaign
We’ve all been loving Apple’s World Gallery ad campaign for its iPhone 6. Launched in March 2015, this campaign commonly known as ‘Shot on iPhone 6’ after Apple curated the best images from users work via Flickr and Instagram to display on billboards, posters and creative environments all around the world. The campaign featured 162 users and more than 10,000 installations in 75 cities in 25 countries. Juan Carlos Ortiz, Creative Chairman at DDB Americas and Jury president for Cannes Lions, declared Apple’s campaign ‘a game changer’.
