News – Apple’s iPhone 5 Will Have Larger 4.6-inch Display
Reuters are reporting this morning that following a South Korean media report, the new Apple iPhone, presumably named the iPhone 5, will have a bigger 4.6-inch retina display and will launch in the second quarter of 2012. The Maeil Business Newspaper reports that ‘Apple has decided on the bigger 4.6-inch display for its next iPhone and has started placing orders to its suppliers’. Apple’s major suppliers are LG Display and Samsung Electronics Co, characteristically they both declined to comment. If you’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone, then you will be aware that this device uses a 4.6-inch OLED display, hopefully we’ll be seeing a high definition retina display…

There’s a new section at Apple iTunes entitled ‘Great Apps for the New iPad’ and is definitely worth checking out. It lists new and/or updated retina-enabled iPads to enable you to take advantange of the high resolution screen of the new iPad. There are some great apps available including SketchBook Pro, Infinity Blade II, MASS EFFECT INFILTRATOR, IncrediBooth, we can’t wait to fire them up on our new iPad.

Yes folks, it’s March 16, 2012 and that means only one thing to Apple fans around the world, it’s iPad day. Today, everyone who pre-ordered an iPad last week (when we told you to) will be receiving a new iPad. Others can head to an Apple store or authorized reseller and hopefully get one.
