New Mobile Photography Competition – MIRA Mobile Prize 2015 – FREE To Enter
I am very pleased to announce the new MIRA Mobile Prize Competition is open for entries. This is the second year of this popular competition and I am delighted once again to have been asked to join the Jury. This competition is purely for mobile photography and the theme is ‘Street Photography of the World’ – there should be some fabulous entries and we’re expecting many from our popular Streets Ahead column. We have just completed this epic showcase of The Best Mobile Photography and Art images of 2014. All of these images were in our favourites section of our Mobile Photography & Imagery Flickr Group. We have painstakingly worked our way through over 8,000 favourited images, from an original of over 115,000. MIRA 2014 Mobile Photography Exhibition This Weekend!
This weekend is a truly fabulous one to bask in the glory of mobile photography and art. Not only is there the NEM Kansas City 2014 Mobile Photography Exhibition, as mentioned here but also there’s the MIRA Mobile Photography Exhibition in Porto, Portugal, opening 6 September 2014 at 1600 hrs. Fifty artists have been shortlisted for this exhibition hosted by Manuela Matos Monteiro, with an illustrious Jury (including myself).
