Getty Images Instagram Grant – Up To $30,000 To Be Awarded
Getty Images have announced a collaboration with Instagram to offer a grant to support photographers using Instagram to document stories from underrepresented communities around the world. A total of three grants of $10,000 each will be awarded. Winners will not only receive a cash grant, they will also have the opportunity for mentorship with award-winning Getty Images photographers. Getty Images – Grants for Editorial Photography
We all believe that photojournalism is a powerful tool for telling compelling social, political and cultural stories. We also understand that creating and managing world-class photography assignments requires time, freedom, support and considerable resources. That is why Getty continue to offer the Grants for Editorial Photography, which in 2015 will provide five total grants of $10,000 each to photojournalists pursuing projects of personal and journalistic significance.
