New Periscope Camera by HTC For Mobile Photography – iOS and Android Platforms
HTC have launched the RE Camera, it’s a16MP ‘GoPro competitor’ and it records 1080p video and time-lapses. It can also record HD slow-motion video at 1/4 speed. The device includes a 146-degree wide-angle lens and image stabilisation software, and is built with a waterproof design. The RE app works with both Android and iOS devices, where your photos and videos will be automatically viewable. You can also use your device as a viewfinder, as the RE doesn’t have a screen of its own. According to a report in The Financial Times this morning, HTC, the Taiwanese smartphone developer, is said to be hiring staff for the proposed launch of an online store. According to a report in Fortune today, they state that despite Apple being the most profitable mobile company, this has come about largely due at the expense of Nokia, Sony Ericcson, LG and Motorola.
