Adobe Lightroom CC for iPad Has Been Updated with Siri Shortcuts Support
If you’re an avid user of Adobe Lightroom CC for iPad and so many artists are, then you’ll be pleased with the latest update. It brings support for Apple’s Shortcuts app, this now allows you to create a shortcut in order to directly import your images into Lightroom. Adobe explain “Support for Shortcuts app. Lightroom is now supported directly within the Apple Shortcuts app, enabling the creation of a shortcut in which images are imported into Lightroom. You can also decide whether or not to apply one of the default presets at the time of import”. Lightroom CC for iPad is available as a free download on the App Store.

This weeks Saturday Poetry, matched with mobile photography/art is entitled “I Cannot be Quiet an Hour” by Mary Ruefle. Ruefle was born in Pennsylvania in 1952. Her father was a military officer, and she spent her early life traveling throughout the United States and Europe. She graduated from Bennington College in 1974 with a degree in literature. Our TrueView Interview section is an area where we ask one singular question, to mobile photographers and artists and it is captured to video. This time, I have asked mobile artists to consider their work within a story telling/narrative framework. My thoughts behind this, include an 18th century thesis, ‘Laocoon: An Essay on the Limits of Painting and Poetry‘, Gotthold Lessing argued that although painting could not communicate narrative in the sense of telling a story, it could imply drama by aspiring to capture the “pregnant moment”.
