I’ve been really excited this week because I have created a new interview platform within TheAppWhisperer that allows artists to answer the textual questions we ask, visually and the results have been spectacular. I have wanted to do this for sometime. I am not one to read lonely hearts ad’s per se, however I do love history and found myself pre Valentine’s wondering when the first lonely hearts ad may have been written. I think I found it, in 1695 a ‘gentleman about 30 years of age’ placed at least one of the first recorded lonely hearts ad’s and he was seeking ‘some good young gentlewoman that has a Fortune of 3000 l. or thereabout’. £3k is equal to around £260k ($340k) today. Within each artists work there is a freedom of obligations, freedom of inevitability, each work has been constructed to elicit entirely what was desired. We’re delighted to reveal that the Mobile Photography Awards (MPA) 2017 Results have now been announced. As always we (I speak as a member of the Jury) were succumbed by the wealth of talent displayed across our screens. We’ve had more entries to this competition than ever before and the quality of submissions has been totally outstanding across all the categories.
