This is another totally astonishing showcase full of mobile photography and art captured and created over this past week from around the world. This week, I have dedicated the showcase to a very special member of our community and one who will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow. Carolyn Hall Young, has touched many of our lives and hearts, she’s also one woman who I grace with the role of teaching me how to make love. Yes, just recently Carolyn taught me how to make love. Yes!!! We have just published our latest Flickr Group Showcase and it’s absolutely breathtaking, filled will wonderful mobile photography and art images from all around the world. Our regular readers will know that the site has been a little quiet for the past week or so. I have recently been through a major surgical operation and I’m certainly not up to full speed yet but I am healing and I am getting stronger. We are utterly delighted to publish this weeks’ Flickr Group Showcase, so many of you have been completely inspired! Your work is exceptional, eminent and phenomenal. We lead this week with a wonderful image by lorenka61 – this image really struck a chord with me. It reminded me of Mya Angelou’s first book ‘I know why the caged bird sings’ and of course, unfortunately she passed on this week, so I thought this would make a wonderful lead image. We then pass onto a similar and excellent one by Roger Guetta and then move into some incredibly powerful portraiture, we walk into street and then wade into some wonderful seascapes…

Wow! We have just produced our latest Flickr Group Showcase, the first one for May 2014 and it is incredible! It’s so full of meaning and atmosphere this week, we begin with a fabulous image entitled ‘Glow’ by Bruno Ribeiro and that leads us into incredible imagery, with many of the trials and tribulations of life/relationships played out this week. This is particularly poignant with the portraiture that it leads into and then we view some outstanding travel and street photography, we then move steadfastly into breathtaking painterly images and next we’re greeted and buoyed by beautiful bouquets and individual floral still life images each with subtle lighting, luscious landscapes…
