Visualising Mobile Photography and Art Interview with Joyce Harkin from the United Kingdom
Today, we are publishing our twenty seventh visual interview, this time with Joyce Harkin from the United Kingdom. Harkin’s art is an amalgamation of dichotomies: inside/outside, public/private, high/low – all dynamic. Her images speak eloquently to us about our own life experiences at the same depicting her own. One of Harkin’s most admirable qualities as an artist, is her hunger for inspiration and this is reflected in her varied work. When embarking on a new creation, Harkin reaches the summit, she uniquely manages to not only arrive with an aesthetically pleasing visual image but one which ensures all the elements involved are included as intended. Mobile Photography & Art – Flickr Group Showcase – 17 June 2018
Mobile Art and its artists need their audience, this showcase manifests with my welcoming spirit, embodying feelings with a kind of jovial gratitude and there’s a reason for that. This is an elegant, charming and poetically simple showcase within its means and methods. The opening image should stop you in its tracks and the rest will take you on a journey, clearly without rudimentary structure. It is figuratively tied together with pure arte povera, in the sense of art, without the restraints of traditional practices and materials. Deep within its core, hear the screams of belief in the democratic mutuality of art. The metaphor is overwhelming. Thank you to all…

Mobile Photography & Art – Flickr Group Showcase – 10 June 2018
“Happily ever after is a very relative thing. I’m grateful that I get to be alive”, this is one of the many excerpts from the deepest conversations I had for many years, with our mutual friend, dear Carolyn Hall Young. I miss her immensely, everyday and everyone I’ve ever spoken to, who has known her, has the same feelings. Why is it that some people make such an impact on our lives, out of the thousands and thousands that we know now or will know, what is it, that pushes them into our hearts and keeps them there? There are many answers to this complex question and I would say…

Mobile Photography – App of the Day Recrop (previously known as AntiCrop) by TouchRetouch Developers ADVA Soft
We are delighted today to annouce our App of the Day Recrop. This is an updated app, which was previously known as AntiCrop) by the developers of the uber popular TouchRetouch app, ADVA Soft. ReCrop has become more composition orientated as opposed to AntiCrop. It gives the operator a second chance to reframe your original shots, post capturing – allowing you to crop, uncrop and straighten. The update, is not just all that though, there’s also a newly improved algorithm, meaning this app is now even better at filling in the expanded areas based on the content surrounding it and works best with uniform backgrounds. Straightening is lossless, just as…
