Mobile Photography & Art – Tip of the Day – Set Up An Alternative Face ID in iOS 12
We are re-igniting our Tip of the Day section and we have a great one here that you may not be aware of yet. With iOS 12 it’s now possible to set up an ‘alternative appearance’ for unlocking your iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max or XR. Previously, only one facial id could do this. This maybe a useful feature if you need to unlock your child’s device, or perhaps if you share a device. Huawei Juice Van Rolls Into London #HigherIntelligence
The Huawei juice van appeared in London today, stocked with ‘apple free’ brain-boosting drinks to “recharge minds”, and plug sockets to recharge battery-depleted phones. A spokesman explained “we wanted to give people a taste of what’s to come on 16th October in London”. Mobile Photography & Art – Tip of the Day – Tell Siri To Fire The Shutter Button
We are re-igniting our Tip of the Day section and we have a great one here that’s going to be of huge use to many photographers and to my mind it’s a feature that ought to be written into camera firmware too. Siri, up and until now, has not been able to handle the prospect of literally firing the shutter button. It was possible to tell Siri to open the camera but not to fire the button but now there is a way! You’re going to need the Halide app for this.
