APPart – Mobile Art – Pantone Color of the Day – Winner Announced – 14 April 2015
Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. Yesterday’s Color of the Day was Rococco Red (18-1652) with the adjectives and nouns, ‘Creative Builder, Persistent and Influential’. We feel that @rubyreddream – Lisa Peters, has captured the essence of these with this wonderful image ‘Too Many Marys‘, please check out her Instagram account, it’s fabulous. Today’s ‘Color of the Day’ is Hibiscus (18-1762) and the accompanying descriptives are ‘Determined, Persuasive and Sparkly’. Sometimes when we’re creating, we have to wage war with the work. This piece is a perfect example of something I fought for a very long time before the pieces (and there are lots of them in here) all come together. I began this piece with a pretty clear idea where I was going, or so I thought! I wanted to create something that was about the state of the world we are leaving for future generations.
