Photosmith is a fantastic brand new app to hit the App Store that allows you to improve your workflow with Lightroom in situ. Despite Adobe rushing around releasing iPad apps they seem to of overlooked Lightroom. Photosmith allows photographers to take their pictures in the field, download them to the iPad, and use Photosmith to review their images, add to custom collections, filter by certain criteria, assign metadata, and filter by that data. Wired iPad App Going Free – For One Month
Adobe have agreed to sponsor Wired magazine for one month and therefore Conde Nast are effectively offering their latest issue of Wired iPad edition completely free. Virgin did a similar deal with their Project iPad app recently, thanks to sponsorship from American Express. Adobe Demonstrates Photoshop For The iPad
Photoshop World is in full swing at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida and yesterday during their Keynote, Adobe demonstrated Photoshop for the iPad and it has layers, unlike Photoshop Elements for the iPad. Layers are only found in professional applications and this demonstrates Adobe’s commitment to this app and to the iPad, for photographers on the go. There’s no news yet on release dates or a full feature set but watch this space, as soon as we hear anything we’ll let you know. We can’t wait.

Yes, belive it or not you can now download for free Adobe Photoshop Express for your Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad and Android device. This is an update to their earlier release and now includes support for the iPhone 4 Retina Display as well as support for iOS 4 quick app-switching, otherwise known as multitasking.
