A wonderful man first and foremost and secondly, a wonderful mobile photographer, who we sadly lost last week. Vivian Maier for the first time in Italy by Giulia Baita
After its discovery and success in the United States, Vivian Maier, the French nanny who took pictures extraordinary, arrived in Italy. It was not Rome or Milan or Florence to host the exhibition dedicated to her, but a small village in Sardinia : Nuoro. Thousands of visitors who knew very little about Vivian Maier found a beautiful exhibition, with hundreds of photos, 10 videos, notes, a video interview with the testimonies of those who knew her personally.
