Apple Opens Pre-Ordering – Order Here

2012-09-14 / Comments Off on Apple Opens Pre-Ordering – Order Here

Apple has just opened the online store doors for pre-ordering of the iPhone 5. We’ve placed our orders and we suggest you do so as soon as you can, if you are going to upgrade. History reminds us Apple will only have a limited number for the first run and then the waiting sets in. After placing our order we received a message stating that dispatch will be 2 weeks. We’re hoping that this is just a precautionary message and that we’ll be receiving our gorgeous devices on September 21 2012. If you’re in the UK – click here to pre-order your iPhone 5 If you’re in the US –…

    iPhone 5 Pre-Orders To Start On September 12, 2012

    2012-08-13 / 1 Comment

MacRumors are reporting that iMore are correct in their assumptions that preorders in the US for the brand spanking new iPhone 5 will commence on September 12, 2012, the same date that the magical device is also rumored to be announced. The actual release of the new handsets is apparently planned for September 21, 2012 in the US. International orders will apparently begin around October 5, 2012. Obviously none of these dates have been confirmed, Apple has not even confirmed they will be announcing the new iPhone 5 or iPhone as it may be called, yet either. We’re pretty damn sure that it’s happening though and we can’t wait. Watch…

iPhone 5 And iPad Mini To Be Announced On September 12, 2012

    2012-07-30 / 1 Comment

Possibly another rumor but we’re also quite certain it’s not too far from the truth, iMore has revealved that Apple is planning to debut the new iPhone and the iPad Mini at a special event on September 12, 2012 and the iPhone 5 will be available to purchase 9 days later, as yet there is no ‘confirmation’ on the availablility of the iPad Mini. The iPhone 4S event was held last year on October 4 and it was available 10 days later so it’s all very feasible. We haven’t got long to wait now and there’s bound to be a host of rumors inbetween but one thing’s for sure, it…

Rumor – iPhone 5 To Ship With Liquid Metal Rather Than Glass – T2 vs King Kong?

2012-04-18 / Comments Off on Rumor – iPhone 5 To Ship With Liquid Metal Rather Than Glass – T2 vs King Kong?

Well, possibly another rumor, no scrap that, definitely a rumor but one that we really hope does become true. cnet are reporting today that ‘Korean news site ETnews says Apple will use Liquid metal technology for the next iPhone, which the outlet boldly claims will be unveiled at Apple’s annual worldwide developers conference’. As we all know the WWDC usually takes place in June and other than last year, is the place where Apple announce their new iPhone’s. This is supposedly instead of their current Gorilla glass. According to LiquidMetal Technolgies, Liquidmetal is a metallic glass, it also has 2-3 times the strength and hardness of both stainless steel and…

News – Apple’s iPhone 5 Will Have Larger 4.6-inch Display

2012-03-22 / Comments Off on News – Apple’s iPhone 5 Will Have Larger 4.6-inch Display

Reuters are reporting this morning that following a South Korean media report, the new Apple iPhone, presumably named the iPhone 5, will have a bigger 4.6-inch retina display and will launch in the second quarter of 2012. The Maeil Business Newspaper reports that ‘Apple has decided on the bigger 4.6-inch display for its next iPhone and has started placing orders to its suppliers’. Apple’s major suppliers are LG Display and Samsung Electronics Co, characteristically they both declined to comment. If you’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone, then you will be aware that this device uses a 4.6-inch OLED display, hopefully we’ll be seeing a high definition retina display…
