JCC Third Annual International Mobile Photography Competition Gallery & Awards Reception
I loved being part of the 2016 Jury for the JCC Mobile Photography Exhibit, along with Rad Drew. The images we received were all phenomenal in quality, each artist gave Rad and I a tough job and it was so worth it! Everyone has now been notified of their awards and the Gallery and Awards Reception will take place on 16 August 2016, between 5.30 – 7.00 pm. Recently, I set up a Facebook group entitled – The Courage to be Afraid – A Tender Tribute to Human Valiance with Carolyn Hall Young. Hall Young is our dear friend and hugely talented artist and many of you are aware that she is currently experiencing particularly challenging health issues. APPart – Mobile Art – Pantone Color of the Day – Winner Announced – 12 January 2016
Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. The Color of the Day was ‘Doe’ 16-1333 with the accompanying descriptives ‘Profound, Ambitious and Spiritual’. We feel that @sukru_mehmet_omur has captured the essence of these with this wonderful image, please check out his Instagram account, it’s fabulous.
