If you’re an iOS developer then head over to the Developer Center and download Apple’s latest iOS 4.2 beta and iTunes 10.1 beta to start testing with. This version is apparently less buggy and hopefully once this is approved, will officially be released it in November 2010. This beta is for the iPhone, iPod Touch – albeit not the first generation and the iPad. Rumors, albeit ‘very reliable’ ones are flying around reporting that Windows Phone 7 will be arriving in the US on November 8, 2010 and not October 11, 2010 which it had been widely reported to be. With claims of an Apple style event in New York City on October 11th, many blogs had been rife with rumors that this is when the Windows Phone 7 would be unveiled. It seems this is not the case and the US will have to wait a little longer. An interesting theory though, doing the rounds, is that Europe will see the new Windows Phone 7 go on sale on October 21, 2010 –…

South Korea’s KT this week said it had passed one million iPhone sales after nine months of having the device in the country. The marker was passed on August 16, almost a month before the Korean iPhone 4 launch, and is known to be accelerating with the launch of the current model. KT is still trying to fulfill the now 350,000 back orders for the iPhone 4 and expects to have reached 1.2 million sales by early October. Apple’s device is nonetheless credited with sparking interest in smartphones in a country that had previously clung to traditional phones more aggressively than elsewhere.
