    Apple rise app store prices, £0.99p might look similar to $0.99 but in actual fact, it represents a 25% increase in price in relation to the previous currency conversion at £0.79p. At the time of writing $1 trades for 82p. This price increase also applies to in-app purchases but not to subscription charges. We have to bear in mind that in the UK our rate of VAT is 20% and this price is included, of course in the app store retail advertised prices.
