Apple today announced pre-orders of its iPhone 5 topped two million in just 24 hours, more than double the previous record of one million held by iPhone 4S. MacRumors are reporting that Apple’s brand spanking new iPhone 5 is packed with 1 GB RAM. We know the iPhone 5 is packed with an awesome A6 processor and we’ve been anticipating a RAM increase for some time. Both the iPhone 4 and 4S run with 513 MB RAM but 1 GB will speed up performance with applications and documents and omit a whole lot of lagging and gives app developers a lot more memory to work with.
