The internet is overflowing with rumors that Apple will announce a social networking app at the iPad 2 launch tomorrow. UK app developer Neon Play has achieved over ten million downloads since its launch ten months ago and just three weeks after its app Paper Glider was announced as Apple’s ten billionth download. Spookily, the company has also just employed its tenth member of staff. The white iPhone 4 seems lost in some magical mythical world and rumors of a white iPhone 5 have been doing the rounds for the past few weeks but now we have a new one. Apple Dresses Up For The iPad 2 Arrival
Apple can never resist putting on a good show and this latest one will be no exception. Apple have just started dressing up the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco for the iPad 2 launch event on March 2nd. Despite rumors of the iPad 3 coming this winter, Apple are concentrating on the iPad 2 for the purpose of this event and it looks like it is going to be as exciting as always.
Apple Drops iAd Prices By 50%
Now that’s a big drop but then again, it was big money in the first place. An iAd will now ‘only’ cost you $500,000 – down from a cool $1,000,000. It appears that Apple have had a few problems trying to fill all its ad spots and feels that dropping the price to this level will enable more advertisers to enter the platform. What do you think?
