    As we know the Apple App Store is set to hit the 10 billionth downloaded app mark this month, that equates to 31 months to reach this point. By the same token it has taken 67 months for the iTunes store to reach the same number of downloaded songs. Going on these figures, Asymco has estimated that the App Store downloads will overtake the iTunes downloads by March 2011.
