Official – 600,000 iPhone 4 Pre-Orders On First Day
Wow, now we know why the Apple and AT&T servers were choking, Apple have just officially announced they took 600,000 iPhone 4 orders yesterday – June 15th, 2010. AT&T’s official statement reads ‘iPhone 4 pre-orders were ten times higher yesterday than the first day of iPhone 3GS pre-orders a year ago. Therefore, the highly rumored prediction of 2 million shipped by June 27th, 2010 is really looking realistic – that’s if they can make them fast enough. Averaging at $600 each Apple look to gain $360 million pretty damn soon.

Well, there are plenty of rumors flying around about what exactly Apple will announce at their impromptu Press Conference today – 07/16/10 – 10 am PT. Could it be the start of a massive recall? Apple Confirms They Will Replace 1st Gen iPod Nanos in Japan
Well, how about that! Forget new cases, in Japan Apple are replacing first generation iPod Nanos due to complaints of overheating and burns experienced by users. Japan’s Government Pressuriesed Apple Once the government of Japan stepped into this issue, Apple couldn’t do more. Apple blame the company that produced the batteries for the iPod Nanos sold between September 2005 – September 2006 – they are willing to replace all Nanos bought between this period for free.
