More Reason For Apple To Release An iPhone 5 Lite

2011-05-10 / Comments Off on More Reason For Apple To Release An iPhone 5 Lite

We can all agree that Apple are smart, very smart. Their business strategy is intriguing. Their practice of selling older generation iPhone’s and iPad’s alongside new devices but at lower prices is proving another very popular idea for Apple and of course puts even more money in their bank account. The iPhone 3GS frequently outsells individual Android handsets, even brand spanking newer models. According to research both the16 GB and 32 GB versions of the Apple iPad were sold out within two weeks of the iPad 2’s arrival and the iPhone 3GS sold better than the HTC Inspire and Motorola Atrix on AT&T.   Android is definitely growing and fast…

Apple Officially Announces White iPhone 4 Availabilty Tomorrow

2011-04-27 / Comments Off on Apple Officially Announces White iPhone 4 Availabilty Tomorrow

At last, the mythical creature of the iPhone 4 is now to be believed. Top honcho at Apple, Phil Schiller was quoted as saying: ‘The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful. We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right’. At the end of the day it is still an iPhone 4 but in white, as awesome as that is, personally I’m holding out for the even more awesome iPhone 5. What about you? White models of iPhone 4 will be available in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau,…

Apple Worldwide Developers Conference to Kick Off June 6 at Moscone West in San Francisco

2011-03-28 / Comments Off on Apple Worldwide Developers Conference to Kick Off June 6 at Moscone West in San Francisco

We’ve just been sent this Press Release from Apple announcing the WWDC on June 06, 2011 through to June 10th. Phil Schiller went on to mention, ‘at this year’s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS, if you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do no want to miss’. That’s great, thanks for that Phil, I guess that means iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion and what we really desperately want to see, the iPhone 5. Fantastic, see you there folks. Activities at Apple’s WWDC 2011 include: • more than 100 technical sessions presented…

Hands On Video With the 64 GB iPhone 4 – It’s True

2011-03-09 / Comments Off on Hands On Video With the 64 GB iPhone 4 – It’s True

Yes, it is real folks. The 64 GB iPhone 4 really does exist as this video proves. Saying that, even though it does appear to exist it does not mean it is a full production model but in our opinion more likely to be an engineered prototype. Take a look at the hands on video created by MICGadget. On the back you will see ‘XXGB’, similar to the back of the ‘bought’ Gizmodo iPhone 4 – remember that? What is more interesting though is the apparent confirmation on the inside. When going into the Settings – General menu, it clearly displays the storage capacity, and it is indeed a 64GB…

White iPad 2 Announcement Coming Soon?

2011-02-28 / Comments Off on White iPad 2 Announcement Coming Soon?

The white iPhone 4 seems lost in some magical mythical world and rumors of a white iPhone 5 have been doing the rounds for the past few weeks but now we have a new one. The guys and gals at 9to5Mac and iFixYouriPhone repair shop have found the ‘digitizer’, in otherwords the bezel that surrounds the iPad and it’s white. There is a camera aperture in the centre top right of thebezel that is in addition to the ambient light sensor that is currently available on the iPad 1. If you look at the second image it is clearer to see. We’re not sure if Apple really do intend to…

Here Comes The White iPhone 5 – Oh Yes

    2011-02-22 / 1 Comment

Who needs a white iPhone 4 anyway? -What we want now is the white iPhone 5. Despite the fact that consumers have been waiting almost a year to get their hands on a white iPhone 4, according to a report from the Economic Daily News, the white iPhone 4 will hit the shelves before the white iPhone 5 but both will be available this summer. Now, this doesn’t really make sense to us, why would you want to buy a white iPhone 4 over a white iPhone 5 and why would Apple run them alongside after all the hype? No we can’t see it. What do you think?

The New Apple iPhone Will Be Cheaper

2011-02-18 / Comments Off on The New Apple iPhone Will Be Cheaper

As we reported three days ago, we really don’t think Apple would bring out a smaller iPhone Nano – this has been the latest iPhone rumor for several weeks now. Interestingly, it seems other journalists are coming round to our way of thinking, and reporting that actually Apple may be bringing out a cheaper iPhone. Now that is something that would have much more widespread appeal. The New York Times are reporting "contrary to published reports, Apple is not currently developing a smaller iPhone". Other Apple witnesses ‘got at’ by NYT point out that "the company (Apple) would not make a smaller iPhone at this time, in part because a…

What Would An iPhone 5 With 4 Inch Screen Actually Look Like?

    2011-02-15 / 2 Comments

Well, that’s what we were wondering, we’ve heard all the rumors about the iPhone Nano but we don’t really think Apple are likely to want to go smaller, but larger, sure we can picture that. 9to5 can too as they have created a mock-up of what the iPhone 5 may look like with a 4 inch display fitting into the current iPhone 4 hardware. Take a look, what do you think? We like it. It would be good to get at least five icons width wise and perhaps 6 down. That would be something else if Apple found a way to push the LCD display to all edges. Not sure…

Why The Home Button Is Essential To Apple iPad 2 And iPhone 5

    2011-01-17 / 1 Comment

There’s so much talk of Apple removing the home button from the iPad 2 and iPhone 5, see our earlier report here Many users though are unaware of what the Home button does, apart from the obvious and return you to the Home Screen. It also has some quite hidden features. Find out more below. Double Click Trick By double-clicking the home button on your iPad it takes you to the Adjustment screen for your iPad. From here, if you scroll back once you will then see a similar screen to the above. From this position, you can click the first icon on the left to lock the screen orientation,…

No Home Button For Apple iPad 2 or iPhone 5

    2011-01-13 / 2 Comments

The Apple iPad 2 rumors and whispers are seriously gaining momentum. The latest one to surface relates to the home button on the soon to be released iPad 2 and iPhone 5. An unconfirmed report, as you might expect, suggests that Apple will rely more on multitouch gestures to return to the home screen rather than a physical button, according to a report at Boy Genius. They go on to say that their source reported to them them ‘at some point in time, Apple will remove the home button from the iPad’s design. Instead of button taps, you will use new multitouch gestures to navigate to the home screen and…
