Portrait of an Artist – ‘Dia de los Muertos’ – Challenge
Welcome to our second Portrait of an Artist Challenge. The theme of this challenge is ‘Día de los Muertos’. The main objective being to recreate through a portrait or self portrait, your interpretation of the Mexican tradition of Día de Muertos, which is celebrated on November 2nd. No Halloween allusions, please. I think of this challenge as a great opportunity to look into the difference of those two celebrations and get to know a little more about a very meaningful and beautiful tradition. Google Pixel 4K Cinematic Video Footage
Filmmaker Matteo Bertoli recently purchased a Google Pixel smartphone and spent the weekend testing the camera in Park Cit and Salt Lake City downtown. For this video Matteo used a Rhino slider and the Shoulderpod S1 for handheld footage. He did not use any lenses or gimbal. He edited in FCPX and graded in DaVinci Resolve. He also used Filmic Pro and the native camera app to record the entire video. Check out the video here, it is incrediby impressive!

Apple iPhone 7 Cinematic 4K Video Test
This is a very interesting video, shot by Dom Esposito. In this video Esposito demonstrates the 4K video recording capabilities. The footage you will see in the video comes directly from the iPhone 7 and was edited in Adobe Premier.
