Purple Haze – More Ozzy Than iPhoney?
You may of been reading over the past 24 hours on the net about Purple Haze, we’re not referring to the Prince of Darkness here but to reports over at PetaPixel that the ‘iPhone 5 has purple flare, possibly the same issue that plagued the Leica M8’. iPhone 5 On Its Way To TheAppWhisperer HQ
We’re just received confirmation from Apple that our iPhone 5 is enroute and will be delivered on Friday 21 September, as we expected and hoped. We placed our order as soon as we could on Friday 14 September before the delivery dates started shifting. We hope you will also be receiving yours, if you’ve decided to upgrade on Friday too. If not, don’t worry, we’ll let you know if it’s really worth it once we take a look at ours in the flesh.

iPhone 5 Pre-Orders Slip To 3-4 Weeks In The US
Guess it was envitable but pre-orders for the iPhone 5 are now set at 3-4 weeks in the US Apple Stores. In the UK it still says 2-3 weeks. On Monday Apple annouced that they took over 2 million pre-orders in the first 24 hours. We placed our orders as soon as we could when they went live and so far we are still seeing a ‘delivers on 9/21 on our online order form. Fingers crossed, we’ll let you know.
