First iPhone 5 Photo Apps Appearing In The App Store
The first iOS photo apps for the iPhone 5 are starting to make an appearance in the Apple App store. These apps have all been optimized for iOS 6 and the 4″ iPhone 5 screen. Jony Ive To Design New Leica M Camera
Well, we are not surprised by this news but definitely excited. We’ve known for many years how Apple feels about Leica cameras and so it was no surprise to learn at Leica’s special event last night at Photokina (where theappwhisperer is right now) that Dr Andreas Kaufmann from Leica announced they’ve got a very special limited edition version of the Leica M planned, one that will be designed by Jony Ive – Senior Vice President, Industrial Design at Apple. iPhone 5 Pre-Orders Top Two Million in First 24 Hours
Apple today announced pre-orders of its iPhone 5 topped two million in just 24 hours, more than double the previous record of one million held by iPhone 4S. iPhone 5 Ships With 1 GB RAM
MacRumors are reporting that Apple’s brand spanking new iPhone 5 is packed with 1 GB RAM. We know the iPhone 5 is packed with an awesome A6 processor and we’ve been anticipating a RAM increase for some time. Both the iPhone 4 and 4S run with 513 MB RAM but 1 GB will speed up performance with applications and documents and omit a whole lot of lagging and gives app developers a lot more memory to work with.

Both Orange and T-Mobile have opened up their pre-orders for the iPhone 5 and there are some good deals to be had. The cheapest deal is £36 a month with unlimited internet, 2000 minutes (plus unlmited T-Mobile calls), unlimited texts on The Full Monty Plan (pay monthly) for 24 months.
