Steve Jobs’ Very First ‘Apple-1’ For Sale At Christie’s

2010-11-11 / Comments Off on Steve Jobs’ Very First ‘Apple-1’ For Sale At Christie’s

With 8K of RAM and valued at $250,000 you might well wonder where the interest could lie in such a computer. Well, of course, it’s the history that speaks for itself. This Apple-1 is none other than one of only two hundred original Apple computers that Steve Jobs sold from his folks’ garage and Steve Wozniak designed. The DailyMail reports today. There are very few surviving Apple-1’s and incredibly this one comes complete with the original packaging, instruction manuals and a signed letter from Steve Jobs, in which he appears to be answering questions from the customer about what monitors and keyboards are best to use. Originally the Apple-1 was…

Skyfire to Bring Flash to iPhone and iPad

2010-11-03 / Comments Off on Skyfire to Bring Flash to iPhone and iPad

IPhone and iPad users’ long wait for an app that allows them to view Flash videos is about to be over. Skyfire, which will be available for download at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday for $2.99, is the first such application to receive Apple’s approval for distribution in its App Store.
