Candida Höfer awarded as Outstanding Contribution to Photography recipient at 2018 Sony World Photography Awards
As a member of the World Photography Organisation it gives me great pleasure to announce celebrated contemporary artist Candida Höfer as the recipient of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards’ prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Photography prize. The artist will be presented with her award at a ceremony held in London on Thursday April 19, 2018. A personal selection of Höfer’s works will be shown as part of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition at Somerset House, London from April 20 – May 6. All images ©Candida Höfer

I am beyond ecstatic, my latest interview has just been published to Vogue and when this happens, I am always thrilled. This time, I interviewed the incredibly talented photographer, Clara Giaminardi, I utterly adore her work. “Cascading into the world in 1992, Italian visual linguist, Clara Giaminardi’s later emergence into the photographic cosmos represents a deeply personal, complex and largely enduring oeuvre. Something Different and Very Interesting – ‘Mobile’ Photography with Volvo and Photojournalist Barbara Davidson
This is completely fascinating, at least to me and I like to think that it will be to our readers too. Barbara Davidson is a photojournalist with three Pulitzer Prizes to her name. She was asked by Volvo to test the new on-board Volvo XC60’s camera and sensors.
