Apple Releases iOS 4.3.2
Apple today released iOS 4.3.2 that includes bug fixes and security updates. The update applies to the GSM iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and iPad 2, and the 3rd and 4th-generation iPod touches. The bug fixes are said to include a fix for a bug that caused video to go blank or become frozen during FaceTime calls and another bug that kept some international iPad users with 3G models from connecting to local cellular networks. iOS 4.3.2 does not apply to the Verizon iPhone 4, which has its own update available today as well. iOS 4.2.7 for the CDMA iPhone 4 includes bug fixes and security updates. New App Postagram Prints Your Instagram Pics And Mails Them Too
Postagram, a new iOS app and service launched today by start-up Sincerely, lets users send physical postcards of photos saved in their Instagram account. Postcards sent through Postagram cost $.99 (users who download the app and create an account today will get one free postcard credit) and will be delivered within 2 to 5 days to addresses in the U.S. and a little longer for postcards delivered outside of the U.S. While users can add text to postcards, the maximum allowed is only 140 characters similar to Twitter. iPad And Thunderbolt Support Coming To Apple’s Final Cut Pro Update
Apple is expected to announce the new Final Cut Pro update tomorrow, April 12 and the excitment and rumors are building up consdierably. The latest and one of the most interesting to emerge comes from Mark Raudonis, Head of Post Production at Bunim/Murray Productions, who was given an advance look at the anticipated software update. Steve Wozniak Segway and Apple extraordinaire was interviewed by Reuters in Brighton, England this week. Wozniak was attending the SQLbits conference to present awards to winners as his position as Chief Scientist for storage company Fusion-io affords.
