PolarPro Mobile Filter System
Like many of you, I came to photography back in 35 mm film days. Nights (with others), in a darkroom gave me immense pleasure. The simplicities of mobile photography are extraordinary and you won’t find a bigger advocate of it because of this. That’s not to say that I don’t excited about accessories though now and again and right now, I will say in my typically British understated way, that from what I’ve seen so far, the Iris – Mobile Filter System by PolarPro and expansion pack, looks quite ingenious. Compatible with iPhone X, iPhone 7/ Plus, iPhone 6/7/8 and Pixel 2/2XL mobile devices, the Iris Mobile Filter System includes…

Apple Quietly Launches New Battery Case for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s
Battery life has always been one of much contention for mobile photographers and artists. It’s always a conversation of much debate, ‘which battery charger do you recommend?’ is a question I am very familiar with. Usually, I recommend ones that I personally use myself, Jackery for example produce some good products, that do not cost too much. Mophie Juice is another uber popular manufacturer, I also recommend Otterbox highly. Interestingly, yesterday Apple quietly launched their own iPhone 6s battery pack, this is the first time Apple have ever encroached on this market and I am sure it’s one that has sent third party battery manufacturers into an array of hysteria.…

Kickstarter Campaign – Olloclip Studio for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
We were inspired to learn about this new Olloclip Kickstarter campaign, called the Olloclip Studio for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The olloclip Studio system is the combination of an all-new, more protective case design that incorporates an integrated mounting solution (patent pending) and a series of mobile photography accessories. Both the case and accessories are designed to intuitively work together the moment you pick them up. Unlike many of today’s modular mobile grip systems, olloclip’s Studio components seamlessly work together so you can focus on capturing the opportunity in front of you and not on building a rig. The olloclip Studio Accessory Kit includes an ingenious two-finger universal…

Apple Bows To iPhone 6 Mobile Photography – World Gallery – TheAppWhisperer
Apple has ‘quite rightly’ taken over their homepage with a new section entitled World Gallery. It’s a curation of images taken with either the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6+. This is a global selection and will in its entirety feature 77 photographers across 70 cities and 24 countries. From Sydney to Beijing to San Francisco to New York City to London and more, Apple will feature iPhone photographers and their work on posters at bus stops and train stations in newspapers and on billboards. It’s pure delight and a testament to all that we do here at TheAppWhisperer.com that Apple are featuring the artists’ work in this campaign. This is…
