Streets Ahead – Challenge 9 – Selfies on the Street – TheAppWhisperer
Welcome to our Streets Ahead Challenge 9 ‘Selfies on the Street’ results. This challenge was different to our previous selfie challenge (which was in the style of Vivian Maier). This time, we wanted you to capture people taking selfies of themselves on the street – ‘social media models’. Streets Ahead Interview: Basak Aytek – Mobile Street Photography
This week, the Women’s Street Photography Collective (Streets Ahead) is please and honoured to feature Basak Aytek in our interview segment. Although relatively new to street photography, Basak’s work reveals that she has a gift for capturing the moment. Streets Ahead – Challenge 7 – Steal a Moment
Welcome to the showcase for our seventh challenge ‘Steal a Moment’. The objective of these challenges is to help us collectively practice and perhaps learn some new techniques. Each challenge will be based either on a shooting technique or perhaps a theme.
