APPart – Mobile Art – Pantone Color of the Day – Winner Announced – 28 April 2015
Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. The Color of the Day was Easter Egg (16-3925) with the adjectives and nouns, ‘Verbally Strong, Striking and Motivated’. We feel that @rubyredream – Lisa Peters has captured the essence of these with this wonderful ‘I am the wind, please check out her Instagram account, it’s fabulous. Sheldon is heading up our brand new mobile street photography column entitled StreetWise. Mobile Art – APPart Artist Interview with Damian De Souza – TheAppWhisperer
Every now and then, when perusing Flickr you run across an image that makes you stop dead in your tracks. That’s what happened to me the first time I saw an image by Damian De Souza, and the second, and the third. He seamlessly incorporates disparate parts and pieces to form twisted, torn and unsettling imagery that’s impossible to ignore. De Souza’s work expertly crosses the threshold of genuine fine art and I’m so pleased to have had the opportunity to converse with him while creating this interview for you to enjoy. Jaime Glasser Joins TheAppWhisperer as a New Columnist
We are delighted to welcome Jaime Glasser as a new Columnist to TheAppWhisperer. Glasser has recently returned to the art world after a career as a Veterinarian and a Research Scientist. She attended the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Art in Houston, Texas. She was a watercolor artist before devoting her career to animals and writing on Animal Hospice. Glasser has joined TheAppWhisperer to host a collaboratory mobile photography group and associated Column called Artistic Anarchy: Mobile Collusions.
